Themes
StickViz ships with five professionally designed themes. Each one changes the visual style of every device panel in the overlay.
Glass Cockpit (Free)
The default theme. Frosted semi-transparent panels with blue accent highlights and a modern sans-serif typeface. Designed to look sharp over any game without being distracting.
Stealth (Pro)
Dark matte surfaces with red accent lines. Inspired by military low- observable avionics displays. Feels serious and tactical — a great match for DCS World and other combat sims.
HUD Green (Pro)
Bright green on a pure black background, mimicking a classic heads-up display. High contrast and instantly readable, even at small overlay sizes.
Minimal White (Pro)
Clean white panels on a light background with thin gray borders. An understated look that blends into brighter game scenes and lighter stream layouts.
Neon (Pro)
Cyberpunk-inspired with glowing pink and cyan gradients on a dark base. Bold and eye-catching — ideal for streamers who want the overlay to be part of the show.
Switching Themes
Open the StickViz dashboard and navigate to the Themes tab. Each theme is displayed as a preview card. Click any card to apply it immediately. The overlay in OBS updates in real time — no need to refresh the Browser Source.
Panel Transparency
Below the theme cards is a Panel Transparency slider. This controls the opacity of all overlay panels, from 10% (nearly invisible) to 100% (fully opaque). Drag the slider left to make panels more transparent so more of your game shows through, or right to make them more solid and readable.
The setting applies to all themes and all device panels. It takes effect in the overlay within a few seconds — both in the Overlay Preview and in OBS. Your chosen opacity is saved automatically and persists across restarts.
Tip: A value around 70-80% works well for most streams. It keeps the panels readable while letting your game show through behind them. Experiment with the Overlay Preview open to find the balance you like.
Free vs. Pro
The Glass Cockpit theme is available on the free tier. The remaining four themes — Stealth, HUD Green, Minimal White, and Neon — require a Pro license. Locked themes show a "Pro" badge on their preview card. Activating Pro instantly unlocks them.
